Our mission at Holy Rosary School is to teach Christian values and educate the whole child – providing them with a foundation of faith, which in turn they are able to lean on as they begin building their lives. As a parish our duty is to keep our school accessible to any parishioner who would like their child to receive this gift of a Catholic education, regardless of income.

Your gift to the Holy Rosary Annual Fund will support two very important financial missions for Holy Rosary School by subsidizing two restricted funds: The Endowment Fund and The Scholarship Fund.

Endowment Fund

Invest in the financial future of Holy Rosary School by helping to build the Endowment Fund to the one million dollar mark by Holy Rosary School’s Jubilee in 2014. Once the Endowment reaches this financial mark, the interest generated will be utilized to support the school’s operating cost.

Scholarship Fund

Help make a Holy Rosary education possible for those families who otherwise could not afford the gift of a Catholic education. Your gift enables our school to provide a community of faith, academic excellence and service to all our Parish children, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Cost of Education Meets the Value of Success

• Holy Rosary School is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Our distinction assures parents and friends that Holy Rosary is committed and accountable to annual self study and on going school improvement. We are eligible for grants and corporate matching funds.

• The return on your investment in Holy Rosary School is manifested in the performance scores of our school on annual standardized tests. This year the range of scores was 93% to 99%.

• All Holy Rosary School teachers are certified and many have advanced degrees.

• All students receive instruction in religion, core subjects, Spanish, technology, and music. Students in grades five through eight enjoy full laboratory science instruction. Our full time Director of Special Skills assists students with learning challenges to ensure that each child feels successful.

• The curriculum at Holy Rosary is guided by the State of Washington and the Archdiocese of Seattle.

A Message from our Principal

Over the years our school has realized many goals that have placed Holy Rosary School at the top rung of academic excellence. This would not be possible without the continued support from our Parish community. Holy Rosary School teaches Catholic Christian values. We educate the whole child; academically, socially, physically and above all, spiritually.

The GAP between the cost to educate a child and the tuition charged is approximately $1800 a child. Thanks to the generosity of Father Kenneth Haydock, the parish contributes $250K in subsidy; the balance is earned by fundraising.
