Dear Friends of Holy Rosary,
Welcome to Holy Rosary, a school where all children grow and thrive academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.
Everything we do at Holy Rosary is to prepare children to serve as Disciples of Christ. We do this holistically, embracing the dignity of each individual. We ignite a love of learning through inquiry, exploration and wonder; specifically, with our STEM, robotics and Spanish language programs. Being a small community, we create a culture of belonging where each student is known, loved, celebrated and supported for their unique gifts and identity.
Holy Rosary offers a safe and family-centered community. We view parents as strong partners in the education of our students and provide ample opportunities for families to be involved through volunteerism, projects, and events where they will explore with their children. The Holy Rosary Auction, our largest fundraiser, brings in additional funding which directly benefits student learning and their learning environment.
Our school is accredited as “highly effective” by the WCEA with glowing commendations on many aspects of our educational program. Families and stakeholders comment that the Catholic identity is strong and students feel supported to achieve high expectations of academic rigor. The school partners with many organizations in the Edmonds community to provide students opportunities for enrichment and service. We have a robust CYO sports program, after school care, and many opportunities for student mentorship where older students guide younger students, even our Pre-kindergarteners!
Having been in Catholic education my whole life as a student, parent and educator, I can attest to the benefits of learning and growing in a small, faith-based, family-centered community. It is a blessing and a privilege to serve such a wonderful community with families committed to supporting the creation of life-long learners and Disciples of Christ!
