Accreditation & Curriculum

Curriculum
Holy Rosary has a well-defined curriculum which provides our students with a strong foundation in basic skills necessary for reading, communicating, computing, and critical thinking. The curriculum is aligned with the Common Core Standards. In addition to the basic subjects, the Holy Rosary core curriculum for all students includes instruction in the arts, music, physical education, library, science, public-speaking, Spanish language and technology in our well-equipped computer lab.

Accreditation
Holy Rosary Parish Catholic School is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association.

Assessments
Holy Rosary School maximizes the growth of each student through continuous high-quality instruction and assessment. Students in grades 2 through 8 participate in the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test two times each year.

Students are assessed in the Fall to identify learning goals and potential gaps and deficits. These results are used by teachers and staff to inform instruction and determine target areas of need. In the Spring, students are tested again to determine their overall growth during the year.
