Nurturing Hearts, Expanding Minds: K-5

Our elementary program provides a safe, vibrant space where young learners transition from foundational discovery to confident critical thinking. From the moment you step into our K–5 classrooms, you will see a community in action—students working in small groups, diving into hands-on projects, utilizing personal laptops, and learning to care for one another. Guided by faith and a dedicated faculty, our curriculum is designed to educate the whole child: emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

Kindergarten: A Safe Space to Grow

In Kindergarten, the goal is for the children to grow emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially. We want to foster a love of learning in a classroom where each student feels listened to, cared for, and safe. We strive for all children to grow in self-esteem and confidence, creating positive self-images in an environment that encourages them to care for themselves and those around them.

1st & 2nd Grade: Empowered, Hands-On Learners

In 1^st Grade, our goal is that students grow as readers and mathematicians, as well as grow deeper in their faith. We strive to instill a love of school and learning.

In 2^nd Grade, our goal is to educate the whole child: emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Our goal for our students is to become more empowered learners across all curricular areas.

Walk into our 1^stor 2^nd grade classroom and you will see students working together in small groups, students working one-on-one with our dedicated instructional aide, students sharing presentations with the class, students participating in hands-on learning opportunities, students working on one of our Lenovo laptops, or students doing a variety of other exciting activities.

3rd & 4th Grade: Responsibility & Literacy

In 3rd and 4th Grades we strive to nurture in students a love of reading, global awareness, and organized writing. We prides itself on personal responsibility, teamwork, ownership, and gratitude. One of our main goals is to instill a love of daily reading through choice and the development of reading habit.

Walk into our 3rd or 4th grade classroom and you will see students working together in small groups, students sharing presentations with the class, students participating in hands-on learning opportunities, students working on one of our Lenovo laptops, or students doing a variety of other exciting activities.

5th Grade: Critical Thinking & Leadership

Our 5th Graders begin to practice their critical thinking skills by wading into the complexities of each subject. Through rich dialogue, analysis, and activities, students dig deeper into mathematical patterns, engaging storytelling, interconnected etymology, and modern-day ethics. In this way, 5th Graders synthesize the skills and concepts they have learned in previous years while preparing for the demands of middle school.
