ChessCHESS Enrichment with Orlov Chess Academy

- Open to students in grades 1-8 [NOW OPEN FOR 1st GRADERS]

Winning On and Off the Field
CYO Athletics is sports done a different way – as one community. Individuals and teams strive for greatness in accordance with Gospel values. To develop the whole person, we teach that success is not measured solely by the scoreboard, but by the effort, team play, and fun of the experience. CYO Athletics provides an opportunity for our parish boys and girls to be physically active in a positive Christian learning environment.
The CYO program, while it does encourage sports development, primarily emphasizes the opportunity for youth to develop positive self-worth, strong moral character, interpersonal competence and a commitment to caring for others through social, recreational and educational activities.

The Holy Rosary CYO Soccer registration deadline is AUGUST 1.
ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME! After August 1st we will accept registration from other parishes, so we cannot guarantee a spot for Holy Rosary players who register after the deadline

Practices: Practices start in late August/early September. Practices dates/times/frequency depends on coaches' preference.
Games: begin September 12/13 (Grades 4-8)/September 19 (Grades K-3). The season lasts until October 25. The game schedule is released around the first week of September.
Coaches and Assistants: Volunteer hours count towards school requirements. Register as a volunteer thru CYO Team Sideline and selecting "Volunteer"

Fall CYO Cross Country registration deadline is September 1
Cross Country is offered for Grades K-8. This is a great compliment to any other fall sports or activities your child is engaged in. Join us for this short and fun season.

Practices begin the second week of September. Practices are Sundays 4:00-5:00 at Lynndale Park and an additional weekday practice will be offered at Holy Rosary (start time TBD depending on coaches’ availability).
Meet dates are September 20, 27, and October 4 at Lower Woodland Park, near Greenlake in Seattle.

Robotics
Robotics Club - registration currently open.
We will be transitioning to the VEX Robotics program in the 2026-27 School Year. Robotics will be open to 2nd-8th Grade students.
2nd–4th Grade: Junior League
Students in grades 2nd–4th will participate in the Junior League program. Fourth graders will remain part of the Junior League to maintain consistency with other schools in the Archdiocese. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a tournament with other Archdiocesan schools.

5th–8th Grade: Senior Team (Competition or Non-Competition)
Middle school students will have the option to participate on either a VEX Competition Senior Team or a non-competition Senior team.
Practice: 2-3x/week for Competition Team | 1-2x/week for Non-Competition Team

Ski Club
Ski BusHoly Rosary partners with Webbski Ski School to take students to The Summit at Snoqualmie for ski lessons.

2025-26 Program details:
- Course dates (Thursdays): 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, and 2/5
- Cost this season will be $640 per student for 5 weeks (2 hours of instruction and bus transportation)
- Available for students currently in 2nd-8th grade
- 3 pm dismissal on ski days for participating students only
- Bus departs the school at 3:15 pm, returns to the school between 8:30-9 pm
- Equipment rentals are available through Webbski, pricing is available in the registration packet
- Lift tickets are additional and can be purchased online
- Single youth lift tickets for weekday evenings currently range from $38-$42, cheaper alternative to a season pass
