POSITIVE BEHAVIOR & SCHOOL CULTURE

At Holy Rosary School, we believe students thrive when they feel known, valued, and connected. Our approach to student behavior is rooted in creating a positive school culture where every child experiences a sense of belonging and wants to be an active, contributing member of our community.

We use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), a proactive approach that focuses on teaching, modeling, and reinforcing positive behaviors rather than simply reacting to misbehavior. Through clear expectations, consistent routines, and positive recognition, we help students develop the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed for success both in and out of the classroom.

Our staff intentionally creates opportunities for students to practice virtues, demonstrate leadership, and make positive choices. Students who consistently model our school values are recognized as Ram Role Models:

RAM ROLE MODELS

  • Respect Themselves and Others
  • Act With Kindness
  • Make Responsible Choices
  • Stay Safe

By focusing on prevention, positive relationships, and character development, we foster a safe, welcoming environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Our goal is not only to address behavior but to build a community where every student feels empowered to contribute, belong, and flourish.
